Jaime, the second of three children, began singing at the young age of three. It wasn't long before she was singing at church as she spent her childhood growing up in Southern Idaho. As a child and a teenager Jaime was always an outdoor girl and quite a tomboy. She enjoyed riding her horse and playing basketball with the boys. After attending a private Christian high school she decided to enter the Miss Magic Valley pageant in an attempt to meet more people and showcase her voice. She never imagined that she would win the pageant which is exactly what happened.

 

Take Celine Dion and cross her with Faith Hill and you get the unforgettable sound of Jaime Thietten. Her commitment to God becomes evident as she sings from the depths of her soul in the concert that will lift you to your feet in joy and then drop you to your knees in worship.

 

In 1998 Jaime began her music ministry. Her vision was to minister to the body of christ through her music and spread the message of forgiveness within the church. Eight years and 4 CDs later she still carries on this mission. Booking in excess of seventy concerts a year, Jaime sometimes travels as many as forty weekends a year and still considers it a joy and privilege to travel to chruches where she can share her voice and Gods message. Jaime has shared the stage with several well known Christian artists, she has appeared on national TV on several occassions and in 2004 her rendition of Celine Dions "Because you loved me" stayed in the top ten on the nashville radio charts all summer.

 

Jaime and her husband Pete reside in Nampa Idaho where pete works in full time yough ministry at St. Pauls Catholic church. They are both extremely devoted to Jesus Christ and to each other.
